There's not much of a choice. No plane-oriented shop. Best stores
in Barcelona City are Jordi Rubio (Armour), Kit Car 43 (car) and Maquetismo
(general modelling). Don't expect people in these stores to speak fluent English...
The remaining are plain modelling/toy/slot/puzzle stores..... No resin-accessories,
PE or decals.....
Shop list:
- Palau, carrer Balmes 4, Underground line 1 (red) - stop Universitat or stop Catalunya. The Catalunya stop also forms part of the Underground line 3 (green). More stores around town, but the one to go for kits is this one.
- Poly, carrer Aribau 7, very near the Palau store (may be only 300 mt) U-line 1 (red) - stop Universitat.
- Speedy Pacheco, Ronda Universitat 3, half way between Palau and Poly. Good assortment of kits. Some old kits left.
- Orient Express. carrer Gran de Sant Andreu,12. Not worth the visit. U-line 1 (red) stop Sagrera. Small shop, RC focused. http://www.orientexpressmodelismo.com/
- Figurat, carrer Casanova 21. Very small shop. Just Figures. U-line 2 (violet) stop Sant Antoni or U-line 1 (red) - stop Universitat
- **Kit Car 43**, carrer Rosselló 308. http://www.kitcar43.com . Cars, cars and only cars (any form, scale, material or quality) ... resin, metal, 1/18, 1/24, 1/43, 1/32... accessories, PE, decals, resin kits ............. If you're in car modelling NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!!!!. U-line 4 (yellow) - stop Verdaguer.
- **Jordi Rubio**, Avinguda Gaudí 56, www.jordirubio.com very close (3 minute walk) to the Sagrada Família Church/Monument. Armour-focused (tanks, accessories, PE, books, figures, and his own aluminium barrels). U-line 2 (violet) - stop Sagrada Familia. The Sagrada Familia stop also forms part of the U-line 5 (blue).
- **L'Aeroteca**, c/Montseny, 22 (corner c/Sant Joaquim), www.aeroteca.com. Not a modelling store but has some Academy airplane kits. Anyway it's the best Aviation Bookstore in Spain. Fully stocked of aviation related items, from books to watches .... . U-line 3 (green) - stop Fontana. NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!!!!

Kits i Jocs, Via Júlia, 108. U-line 4 (yellow) stop Roquetes - end of
line.
Hobbytecnic, Carrer Compte d'Urgell, 182, U-line 1 (red), stop Urgell.
Very near Barcelona :
Kayak, carrer Montseny 92, L'Hospitalet. Not worth going there, mostly focused on Warhammer .... Not much stock. Makers of Team-Slot cars and decals.
Sindicat del Joc, carrer de la Mercè 15, Badalona. Train line C1 to Mataró, Blanes or Maçanet, Badalona station. Once a modelling and fantasy store. But now a fully Fantasy and figure focused shop. Also some modelling stuff like planes, cars, tanks, etc..... Small shop, not much stock. Not worth going there unless you like Fantasy (Warhammer, Magic et al) stuff.
